A Set of Armorial Cups and Tureens, each with enamelled and gilt borders and decorated to the centre with the coat of arms of the Swedish family af Wirsén, comprising thirteen cups with covers, height c. 9 cm, one tureen with cover and stand, length c. 20 cm, a pair of round tureens with covers, length c. 18 cm, Jiaqing period (1796-1820), minor firing defects, one cup with crack, one round tureen with small crack to one handle
NOTE:
The dinner service was produced c. 1800-1807 and is one of the last services executed during the period of the Swedish East India Company.
