PROVENANCE: From the collection of the missionary, translator and author Gustav Nyström (1899-1957). Mr Nyström and his wife Ester moved to China in 1924. Gustav Nyström was working as a translator for Dag Hammarsköld 1954-55 when he met China's leader Zhou Enlai.
