A Doucai Moonflask, painted in underglaze blue and enamelled in yellow, green, pink and iron-red, with two circular panels, one with Daoist immortals standing on clouds in a mountainous landscape, the reverse side with ladies playing instruments in a fenced garden, surrounded by totally eight green dragons, leaping amidst ruyi clouds in pursuit of flaming pearls, the shoulders with stylised chilong handles, late Qing dynasty, 19th century, height c. 48 cm, wear, loss of glaze
