A GREEN JUNYAO SHALLOW DISH, the flat body gently rounding upwards at the rim, covered inside and out with a glaze of even greenish-olive tone thinning at the rim, inside of foot glazed, marked with label ´Bluett & Sons, London´, Song dynasty, 11/12th century, diameter c. 15 cm

PROVENANCE:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986) and his wife, Valborg Nydell (1905-2003). The dish was purchased at an auction in 1964 at Sotheby´s, London, earlier in the collection of Mrs R Colin Smith.
