A MOULDED QINGBAI CIRCULAR BOX WITH COVER, the slightly domed cover moulded in relief with a lotus spray within a lobed border corresponding to the lobes of the sides, covered with a glaze of pale blue tone, Song dynasty, 12/13th century, diameter c. 8.5 cm

PROVENANCE:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986) and his wife, Valborg Nydell (1905-2003). The box was purchased at an auction in 1965 at Sotheby´s, London, earlier in the collection of Miss Edna H Bahr.
