A QINGBAI STEM CUP, the cup with rounded sides flaring to a gently everted, six petal-lobed rim, raised on a spreading pedestal foot and covered overall with a glaze of pale blue tone, marked with label 'Bluett & Sons, London', Southern Song dynasty, 11/12th century, diameter c. 10.5 cm


PROVENANCE:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986) and his wife, Valborg Nydell (1905-2003). The box was purchased from 'Bluett and Sons', 1962 in London.
