WITH FINE BOTANICAL WATER COLOUR PLATES. "Histoire naturelle botanique Berthe Fauché" (handwritten title).
Manuscript title with flowers in water colour and 15 water colour plates (about 400x270 mm, whole sheet) with a finely written manuscript text sheet opposite the water colour, title underneath, with tissue-papers. All in French.
Black contemporary full calf binding in folio, partly somewhat rubbed, upper cover with blindtooled borders and gilt letters B. F., gilt decor on lower cover, inner gilt dentelles, spine in compartments with gilt title. Soiling to endpapers. Bookplate of Arpad Plesch.
Arpad Plesch (1889-1974), Hungarianborn international financier, banker, and lawyer, had a famous collection of botanical books.
