Contemporary brown full calf, worn, cracks in the joints, blank spine in six compartments, some damages at head and foot. Title and first 5 leaves with some dampstaining in upper part, some foxing and spotting. Signature on first endpaper of Mary S. Le Maistre and G. Le Boulillin.
Jacob Giles (1686-1744), best known for his New Law-Dictionary, and one of the most prolific English legal writers of the 18th century.
