Contemporary vellum, slightly soiled, spine with manuscript title, darkend, blue speckled edges. Owner's stamp on verso of title. Text with some foxing. Some pencil notes on inside of cover.
Soulsby 643a (only mentions 5 plates). Linnaeus' "Methodus sexualis" was published the same year. In "Egenhändiga anteckningar", 1823: "Linneana Methodo scripsere".
