19th century marbled paper binding, worn and rubbed, upper cover with gilt name " H. Laspeyres", title label on spine. Text throughout with traces and spots by tape, mostly in corners, sometimes with some loss of letters, title with loss of inner margin, spots.
Soulsby 250 (not recording the errata-leaf), 253. Hulth 17. First edition published together with the "Fundamenta". Printed dedication to Burman, who helped Linnaeus with this work.
Probably Hugo Laspeyres (1836-1913), important German mineralogist.
