Oblong folio (380x545 mm). Title with large tinted lithograph vignette, 2 lithograph maps, 44 tinted lithograph views, (all, minor foxing, mostly marginal, 1 more foxed to margin and partly on plate, small tear to one margin).
Contemporary green full calf, worn and scratched, gilt title on upper cover, gilt spine, faded, split inner joints, partly loose in binding.

Rare documentation of the 19th century industrial and factory architecture. This interesting work with fine lithographs shows mostly Belgian factories at Angleur, St. Leonard at Liege, Valentin, Flone, Moresnet, Tilff, Weklenraedt etc.
