Near contemporary brown half calf, gilt spines, marbled edges. 2 volumes.

First edition in French, first published in German in Frankfurt 1721. Weber's "Memoires..." are considered to be one of the most important accounts of the period in Russia during the reign of Peter the Great.
The second volume contains a large part (pp. 89-144) "Journal de Voyage de Laurent Lange à la Chine".
