4to (280x220 mm). Engraved allegorical title, engraved title, index (table) and preface, 62 engraved plates (numbered 1-59 and 1-3, about 8 with spots to margins, some browning).
Contemporary full calf, partly rubbed and worn, spine gilt in compartments and title label, joints partly split, gilt edges. Marbled doblures. Printed title browned. Engraved bookplate of Thibault.
