8vo (195x115 mm). 120 folding engraved plates (complete [plate 57 with 2 engravings on same plate], about 10 with some minor foxing, 2 with repairs, about 10 with some minor spotting to margins). Lacking the engraved portrait.
Contemporary marbled paper bindings, partly worn and soiled and with most corners bumped, some spotting, spines faded and with some damages to upper or lower parts, title label on spines, speckled edges, vol. 13 with pink paper on upper cover. Old owner's note in German on first free endpaper in volume 1. Vol. 13 with some dampstaining in the beginning, minor tear to title leaf, otherwise only minor spotting, 1 page with repair. Bookplate of Nils Kierkegaard. 14 volumes.
