GLOBE - MINATURE. WRENCH. Terrestrial miniature globe. London, Wrench's, c. 1840.

Globe in turned wood case (mahogany box), domed lid with raised knob. 12 hand-colored engraved full gores over plaster, iron pivots at poles, pivots fitted into notches in case, signed with overlabel in North Pacific. Globe about 68 mms, stand 110 mms height. Small crack, some brown spotting and some wear to varnish. Wood case lid with crack.

A late nineteenth century English miniature globe, with the central portion of North-Vietnam designated as Annam, Baja California marked as "Old California" and Alaska marked as "To United States."
