Folio (363x217 mm). Engraved title, engraved portrait of the author, 26 engraved plates (of which 4 are double-page) and 11 engraved maps (all, some spotting, portrait a bit frayed to lower corner).
Contemporary bevelled vellum, worn and soiled, covers warped, manuscript title on spine. Signature on inside of cover, hole in flyleaves. Last leaf with repaired tear with minor loss, 2 leaves with tears to margins, 1 with small hole, partly browned and spotted, some leaves in the beginning somewhat frayed to lower corner.
