Contemporary brown full calf, somewhat worn, some cracks in the joints, slightly faded richly gilt spine in seven compartments, redspeckled edges. 1 page with small burnhole, 1 page with small hole in outer margin, partly some foxing, partly some staining in upper inner margin or upper margin. Bookplate of Julius Graf von Zech. Large paper copy printed on thick paper.
Atabey 322. First edition. The plates includes views of the chief cities of Asia Minor, including Smyrna, Magnesia, Abydos, also Bagdad and Ninive.
