COLOUR-PLATES ON SWEDISH UNIFORMS. (SCHÜTZERCRANTZ, ADOLF ULRIK - WETTERLING, ALEXANDER CLEMENS, - SJÖHOLM, JOHAN HENRIC), Kongl. Svenska arméens uniformer, utgifne år 1825. Stockholm (C. Müller) (1824)-25.

Folio (490x295 mm). Lithograph pictorial title leaf, (2 copies, 1 partly trimmed and with small loss to inner margin, 1 with repairs to lower margin, some folds), lithograph leaf of text "Kongl. Svenska arméens indelning" (=Division of the Swedish Army, partly trimmed), 24 hand-coloured lithograph plates, of which two larger folding (complete with 1 double or variant, 1 of the folding plates mounted, minor loss of plate, repairs and some spotting, 1 folding with tear to folding, a few plates with minor repaired tears to margin, otherwise minor foxing and a few minor tears to margins).
Titles and plates loose and mainly untrimmed as issued.

Colas 1643. Scare work found complete regarding "The uniforms of the Royal Swedish Army". The Royal Library notes 24 plates, but it is complete with 23 plates (as they have 1 plate from Norway in their copy).
"The outstanding colour-plate book on Swedish uniforms" (S. G. Lindberg, Swedish books 1280-1967, 59). Title designed by Wetterling and lithographed by Carl von Schéele. Plate "Smålands infanterie" in two variant with different text.
