Contemporary brown full leather, gilt bordure on boards, spine in compartments, marbled edges, repaired joints. Title with signature. Some foxing and spotting.
First English edition. Schiötz 816, Nissen 3224, Poggendorff II, 500.
The nice plates depicts among others animals, fishes, birds, shells, stones and views.
