TWO SIGNED DOCUMENTS FROM RUDOLF II OF AUSTRIA (1552-1612, King & Holy Roman emperor).

2 signed manuscript documents, both in folio (about 320x210 mm), one to the town of Ems (Germany), "Richter und Rath unser statt Emß", dated 1595 and countersigned by Engelhofer, with paper seal. The second letter written to Archduke Ernst of Austria, dated 1581??? , with paperseal.
Both with folds and some soiling and spotting, minor holes to folds, some other old notes to margins.
