Large folio (410x295 mm for binding). Profusely illustrated with black and white woodengravings and illustrations of the newest discoveries made, together with many advertisments. Text with some tears and repairs, some damages, some foxing, with publisher´s small label "E L G Steele" pasted to many pages. Lacking issues.
Contemporary black half leather bindings, title on spine (worn and rubbed, damages). 29 volumes.
