Small 4:o (216x154 mm.). 34 (last leaf blank, of 40 leaves, lacks first 3 unsigned leaves, leaves signed A4-5 and C1, the missing leaves partly compensated by blank vellum leaves). 1 fullpage woodcut, 1 large figurative woodcut initial. The first unsigned leaf with woodcut verso with mended wormholes in lower margin. Leaf signed D1 with larger stain, otherwise minor foxing. BOUND WITH:

Later (late 19th century) black morocco, somewhat worn, gilt borders, gilt inner borders, gilt edges of covers, gilt spine in five compartments, all edges gilt. At the beginning inserted manuscript leaf regarding the book.
Signature "Powis" on inside of upper cover.
The first work complete should be: (4), 1-35, (1 blank) ll.
