Large 4to. Richly illustrated, a few coloured, a few mounted, some folding plans.
Red cloth, sligtly worn, on upper cover in lower margin in gilt: "Kooperativa Förbundets Arkitekturkontor", faded spine (no wrappers). Some minor tears in text, a few spots. A few library stamps, mostly in lower margins of text. 9 volumes.
The magazine L´architecture... was started in 1930 by André Bloc (1896-1966), French architect, sculptor, and painter. The publication was finished in 2007, but was restarted in September 2009. The first chief editor was Pierre Vago, from 1932 to 1947.
Among the authors: J. P. Sabatou, J. P. Kloos, Marcel Breuer, Le Corbusier, G. H. Pingusson.
Many of the issues had a theme, e.g. Gardens, Industrial Buildings, Paris, The Paris Exhibition 1937, Architecture of the Northern countries (including Sweden), Libraries, Museums, Buildings for Cinema and Radio, Theatres, etc.
Not completely collated. Sold as a lot not subject to return.
