To Knut Posse regarding commision of new ships. With red seal (damaged) and adress page.
Some staining and soiling, folds, minor tear to folds, affecting text, minor hole in text (in fold).

To Knut Posse (1592-1664), who served under Sigismund and was responsible for the expansion of the fleet. He was later appointed governor in Södermanland and Stockholm.
Sigismund (also known as Zygmunt III Wasa) king of Poland 1587-1632, grandduke of Lithuania and later (1592-99) king of Sweden.
