Hand-coloured (recent colour) engraved map with figurative cartouche including sphinx, monkey and a sea monster, ships and sea beasts in colours. About 360x490 mm. French edition with French text on verso. Narrow margins, on verso affecting the top of the letters of the title "Les Pays septentrionaux", insignificant holes to centrefold. Framed.
