Engraved map with two cartouches, seabeast and ships. About 350x465 mm. Latin text on verso. Plate number 83. Slightly weak impression. Handwritten note in margin on both sides (corner). Framed in double-glazing.

First printed in 1570. It is one of the first printed renderings of North America´s west coast and an early depiction of the northern Pacific.
