Engraved map with two cartouches, large compass rose in the middle, ship, sea-beasts and other animals like wild hog, fox and goat. About 335x515 mm. Latin text on verso. Small tear in margin of upper right corner.

Lucas Jansz (oon) Waghenaer (1533-1606) published the first printed sea atlas "Spieghel der Zeevaerdt" 1584-85.
