Small 8:o. 1 engraved frontispiece portrait, 9 engraved frontispieces, 10 engraved titles with vignettes (all, mostly foxed).
Contemporary brown morocco, gilt border, gilt spines in six compartments, all edges gilt, all 10 volumes with outer edges with double fore-edge paintings. Minor foxing. Armorial bookplate of William Money Kyrle. 10 volumes.

Probably William Money (1808-1868), later called William Money-Kyrle, his father´s eldest son and heir. For a short time he appears to have practiced as a barrister of the Inner Temple. Despite suffering from ill-health, and possibly hypochondria, he travelled widely, touring Europe and the Holy Land in the mid-1840s. He was High Sheriff of Herefordshire in 1853.
