Engraved map with outline colour and two decorative cartouches both in colour, one allergoric in the sky showing God and the Devil together on a cloud, the other one with two hunters, foxes and a bear. German text on verso. About 415x530 mm. Outer margins near trimmed, pencil notes to lower margin, centrefold with repair in lower part on verso, minor spot and some soiling.

Interesting map depicting the North Pole with parts of Russia, America, Scandinavia and Iceland and Greenland.
