(20, including engraved title), (3), 4-704, (4, including engraved title), (3), IV-XVI, (5), 6-768, (14, including engraved title), (I)-XX, (1)-882 pp. 3 engraved title leaves with vignettes, 5 engraved full-page portraits (all), 24 partly folding engraved maps and plates (all, 7 plates cut to or into platemark in lower part with some loss of text or very small loss of pictorial area, 4 plates browned), many fine engravings in the text, like 45 initials, 87 engravings, vignettes, and 215 engravings of coins.
Later (late 19th century) dark blue half leather, worn, the leather on outer corners with gilt royal crowns, faded gilt spines in five compartments, marbled edges. Vol. I partly some dampstaining in upper part of inner margins, some minor foxing. 3 volumes.

First German edition, translated by J. H. Heubel. This German translation is much expanded compared to the Swedish original from 1740.
The portraits are engraved by Fritsch and depicts amongst others Charles XII, Gustav III and the author. One of the engraved vignettes is the oldest known Scandinavian picture of a working printing office.
