Small 8:o (163x92 mm.). (2), 1-603, (1 blank), (2), 1-582, (2 blank) pp. 2 engraved extra titles, 2 titles printed in red and black, 1 engraved portrait, 8 engraved plates, of which 7 folding.
Contemporary brown full calf, somewhat worn, mended in the joints, gilt edges of covers, richly gilt spines in six compartments, partly some minor damages at head and foot, red edges. The part numbers on the spines "XI" and "XII". Pp. 1-32 in vol. I dampstained in lower outer corner. Minor foxing. Bookplate of J. C. Dezauche. 2 volumes.
Jean-Claude Dezauche (c. 1745-1824), French geographer, cartographer, and map dealer, had a monopoly for selling maps from the "Dépôt de la Marine".
