Folio. (6), (1)-44 pp. Title, dedication leaf to king Gustav IV Adolf . With 2 hand coloured engraved plates (Corvus pica, varietas and Fringilla Laponica, foemina). (Lacking all but two plates). Text loose and uncut as issued, marginal tears, some foxing and spotting.

This bird book was printed in a small edition and is very rare complete. Anders Sparrman started to work on this project in1805 and the first plates were published in 1806. 68 engraved plates were published in 11 parts.
Only text which is complete, lacking all but two plates.
