Small 8vo (110x71 mm.). 496, 351, (1 blank), 23, (1 blank) pp. Title with printer´s device in woodcut, 104 woodcuts in text after Jacob Faber, some duplicates, and some woodcut initials.
18th century vellum binding, gilt spine with red title, partly worn, some soiling, covers sligthly warped. Title partly dampstained and with some worming, text partly with some dampstaining and browning, some spotting and foxing, sometimes closely shaved, but without loss.

The New Testament illustrated with woodcuts by Jacob Faber or Jacques Lefévre is the first in the series printed by Sebastien Gryphius in Lyon.
