MACCLESFIELD COPY. RUSSIA. BOUVET, JOACHIM, AND OTHERS. The present condition of the Muscovite empire, till the year 1699. In two letters: The first from a Gentleman, who was conversant with the Muscovite ambassadour in Holland. The second from a person of quality at Vienna, concerning the late Muscovite embassy, his present Czarish Majesty, the Russian empire and Great-Tartary. With the life of the present Emperour of China. London (printed for F. Coggan) 1699.

Contemporary brown calf, worn, cracked in upper joint, blindtooling to covers with fleurons and deer, faded and worn gilt spine in five compartments, damages at head and foot, speckled edges. Old signatures on title and first endpaper by Thomas Thomson. From the library of the Earls of Macclesfield with engraved bookplate and small blindstamp on title and the following leaf.
