Handcoloured engraved map with two cartouches, c. 350x495 mm. Latin text on verso. (fol. 32). Map oriented to the north.
Some creases, minor tears to margins, lacking part of corner of margin, minor wormholes to upper and lower margin near centrefold, some minor spotting and minor burn.

First published in 1578, in 1593 De Jode´s son Cornelius made an enlarged version. 2nd state, with "Cum Privilegio" added. From "Speculum Orbis Terrae".
