4:o (about 235x163 mm.). 1 handcoloured engraved frontispiece, 1 folding engraved map, handcoloured in outline, 34 handcoloured engraved plates (all, some foxing).
Contemporary vellum, front edges somewhat defective, gilt-ruled spines, partly chipped gilt-lettered spine labels, nearly uncut. A few marginal tears. Some foxing. 2 volumes.

Löwendahl: China illustrata nova. Supplement, 1710 and 1718 (see also serials, entry o).
Apparently originally published in 18 volumes (vol. I-VI related to China), this is from the second issue, in 6 volumes (vol. I-II related to China), with new page numbering, sheet numbering, etc.
Partly translated from Lettres édifiantes et curieuses, published in Paris 1717-76.
