Later (19th century) polished tan calf, slightly worn, covers double-ruled in gilt and blind, mended in the joints, gilt spine in six compartments, on upper compartment a gilt light-house with the text Northerrm light boat, in lower compartment the gilt number 1537, marbled edges. Bokbinders label "Robert Seton Edinburgh" on inside of upper cover. Minor foxing, a few marginal annotations.
