Vol. I new vellum, blank spine, marbled edges, vol. II contemporary vellum, worn and spotted, loose in binding, lacks endpapers. Some foxing, some marginal staining. 2 volumes.

First edition, first issue. The work was reissued in 1676.
The work is considered a missionary´s handbook. The first vol. describes India, the second China and the countries of South East Asia, with several chapters on Christian doctrine. China is described on pp. 276-344 in vol. II.
