8:o (190x120 mm.). (8), (1)-170, (1) pp. Title leaf with woodcut vignette, 1 folding engraved map, 5 folding engraved plates (complete, some minor spotting, 2 small repaired tears to margins).
Early 20th century brown half calf, bump to one corner, gilt spine with pink title label, faded, speckled edges. Title leaf somewhat spotted, some dampstains to margin on page 83-97.

Löwendahl 569.
First edition of Ekeberg´s account of his travels to China in 1770-71. He describes amongst others places like Canton, the Cape of Good Hope, Whampoa and Sumatra. The map of "Charta öfver Cap Godt Hopp" and the plates are drawn by Ekeberg himself.
