Engraved invitation by C. Cochin the Younger. Authorised by De Bonneval, all within an elaborate cartouche incorporating cherubs, musical instruments, garlands of flowers, and coat-of-arms (lightly browned at edges). C. 153 x 192 mm. Slight browning to outer parts with platemarks and margins. In a passepartout, mounted only in upper and lower margin.
