Oblong 4:o (210x250 mm.). 12 silver print photographs (partly somewhat faded) 100x140 mm., mounted, in leporello binding. 1 leaf of text, with text on recto page.
Originally black cloth with corners of red leather, worn, title in gold on upper board. Stamped "Karin & Lars Hall´s Collection" on first endpaper
The photographs depict various professions.
Hankou, earlier known as Hankow, a city in the province Hubei in China at the river Yangtze at the mouth of Han Shui.
Provenance: Lars Hall (1938-2018), well-known Swedish advertiser, designer and art collector, who studied at Konstfack in Stockholm. Hall was an Art director and one of the founders of the advertising agency Hall & Cederquist AB in 1973. He also started Gallery Camera Obscura and later Lars Hall AB, (Art Direction and Design). He was also a large collector of books, especially photo books, and art photography
