Oblong folio (290x395 mm.). Woodcut title mounted on cover, 7 woodcut plates including the loose title, signed in pencil and dated below the plate (size 215x270 mm), all loose in cover and mounted on paper to corners (first woodcut [the title] with broken corner and small tear, some creased corners to paper margins), one paper blindstamped Peyrek´s Zeichenblatt.
Original cover with signed title in woodcut on upper cover, partly worn and with loss (not affecting the woodcut), some creasing to corners.

Emma Schlangenhausen (1882-1947), Austrian painter, graphic artist and printmaker. Influenced by Kees van Dongen and worked mostly in woodcut technique. She was part of the association "Wiener Frauenkunst" and the group "Wassermann".
The woodcuts depict Bern, Rotterdam, Vienna, Nuremberg, Paris and Venice.
