Large oblong folio. Engraved title leaf (foxed, dampstained in lower margin), 60 aquatint engravings by Skjöldebrand - M. R. Heland - J. F. Martin - C. Akrell (all, plate XXXI inserted from another copy, throughout dampstained in lower margin and lower part of outer margin, partly foxed, mostly in the margins, but 7 plates harder, a few plates somewhat worn in outer margin).
Contemporary green half leather, very worn, gilt partly damaged spine, speckled edges. Signature on inside of upper cover of A. de Grateloup.

Bring 315a, Schiötz 966b(***).This is the rare editon with an engraved title leaf instead of the four separately printed title leaves and without the text. The drawings are all made by Skjöldebrand and 31 are also engraved by him, the others engraved by M. Heland, J. F. Martin och C. Akrell. Skjöldebrand travelled together with Acerbi. There are 29 plates showing Norway.
