Contemporary italian full red morocco binding, somewhat worn, richly gilt in the style of the Rospigliosi binder, gilt spine in seven compartments, some minor worming in the joints, gilt nicely gauffered edges. About 10 leaves marginally dampstained, some foxing and spotting. Bookplate of Victor von Stedingk, and with his pencil annotations on first endpaper. First edition.
