COSTUME PHOTOGRAPHS. Schwedische und Norwegische Nationaltrachten. No year, probably 1860-70. 12 partly handcoloured photographs, all mounted on boards with tissue-paper (c. 90x60 mm. photograph, 210x155 mm. board). 10 from Sweden and 2 from Norway. Tissue-papers sometimes crease, some minor foxing to margins.
Loose in decorated red cloth folder, gilt title on cover, worn and soiled, some spots (label Axel Engström, Bokbindare, Etui & Portföljarbetare, Stockholm).

Sweden:Vingåker (2), Lappland (2), Skåne (Herrestad and Jerrestad), Dalarna (Leksand, Rättvik and Mora), photograph of Swedish military. Norway: Voss, Hardanger.

We could only locate two copies, one at the Royal Library and one at the Nordic Museum in Stockholm (only 7 photographs). The Royal libraray mentions 10 photographs. A similar French edition was attributed to P. L. Quist.
