4to (255x200 mm). (4) ll., 152 pp. With engraved title, engraved vignette and 34 (14 double-page, 4 folding) engraved maps of the Caribbean. Partly with slight browning or staining, occasional slight offsetting to maps. Some waterstaining to both titles and occasionally to margins, 2 waterstains to map 27 affecting image. A few minor marginal tears or holes, map 26 somewhat shaved at bottom. English ownership inscription to page 1, ink marking to upper corner of first pages. Bookplate to front pastedown Jacques Laget.
Bound in contemporary calf with gilt spine, rubbed and worn, small tear to upper joint.
