TERRESTRIAL POCKET GLOBE. English pocket terrestrial globe, c. 1860-80, c. 30 mm. (c. inches) diameter, made up of 12 hand-coloured engraved gores, in original wooden case (lacking the lid). Two metal pins resting the globe in the original turned mahogany case (without the fitted lid).
With names like New Australia. Original varnish, globe partly browned and worn, rubbed at the polar areas, some slight losses.
