A LARGE ´DEHUA´ BLANC-DE-CHINE FIGURE OF GUANYIN RIDING AN ELEPHANT, the Goddess of Mercy on a lotus throne positioned on the back of an elephant, the left hand resting in the lap and right hand holding a budding lotus stem and leaf, sashes fluttering all around, the animal standing four square with the head turned to the side, 20th century, height c. 40 cm
