Contemporary partly coloured engraved map with large figurative cartouche in black and white. Engraved by E. Åkerlund. About 440x730. Partly browned. Some dampstaining. Monogram signature in the cartouche and in lower margin. Framed.
Erik af Wetterstedt (1736-1822), surveyor and in 1771 director of land survey of Finland, head of the Swedish Surveying Office in 1777, governor of the county of Uppland 1794. Enobled 1806 by king Gustav III for his work with a general map of Finland..
