Contemporary redpainted vellum, worn, spine in six compartments, defective spine label. Some foxing and spotting. Signature on title of Gust. Carls. Adlerfelt.
Probably Gustaf Adlerfelt (1671-1709), courtier, followed from 1700 onwards Charles XII on his wars in Europe, killed at Poltava in 1709. Author of a journal of the wars, written by order of the king.
